How do I block apps?
Go to the Block tab, tap the + button, and select the apps you want to block. You can create multiple groups with different schedules.
I forgot my PIN. What should I do?
Go to Settings and tap "Reset PIN". You'll need to wait for a cooldown period before you can set a new PIN.
Why do I need to grant Screen Time permission?
Screen Time permission allows the app to block other apps on your device. This is required by Apple for any app blocking functionality. Your data stays private and on your device.
How do I restore my purchase?
Go to Settings → Subscription and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
The blocking stopped working. What happened?
Try these steps: 1) Make sure the block group is enabled (toggle is on), 2) Check if the schedule is active, 3) Go to Settings → Screen Time and make sure Helpful Phone has permission. If issues persist, contact us.
