Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Helpful Phone ADHD application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Helpful Phone ADHD is a productivity app designed to help users manage distractions and focus on tasks. The App provides:

  • App blocking functionality using Apple's Screen Time API
  • Task management with a single-task focus system
  • Home screen widgets
  • PIN-protected unlock features

Requirements

To use the App, you need:

  • An iPhone running iOS 16.0 or later
  • Screen Time permission (for app blocking features)
  • Notification permission (optional, for reminders)

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass any security features of the App
  • Use the App to harm others or interfere with their devices

Your Data

All data you create in the App (tasks, settings, blocked app groups) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve this data. Deleting the App will permanently delete all associated data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE APP IS INTENDED AS A PRODUCTIVITY TOOL AND IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE OR TREATMENT FOR ADHD.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Not Medical Advice

The App is a productivity tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, including ADHD. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
